Farrow & Ball Launches New Podcast, The Chromologist, with Colourful Line Up of Guests
Heritage paint and paper maker, Farrow & Ball, is releasing its first podcast today, March 11th. Expanding on the brand’s unrivaled expertise in colour, The Chromologist, is a celebration of creativity. Each episode will see a notable name in art, design or culture share how colour and pattern have shaped their lives.
Named after the British brand’s popular blog, the first series of The Chromologist features an impressive line-up: Tan France, Lucinda Chambers, Mary Portas, Christopher John Rogers, Eric Underwood, Skye Gyngell, Kassia St Clair and Cerys Matthews. In each episode, the guest will choose four colours that represent a moment in their life — from childhood memories to what they consider a defining decade — and share the stories behind their choices. At the end of the conversation, Farrow & Ball will recommend a colour for their next chapter and gift them a sample pot to take away.
Patrick O’Donnell, Brand Ambassador and the much-loved face of Farrow & Ball on social media, will be hosting the conversation each week. He commented:
“I’m always delighted by the response when we talk about colour and the power of design on social media. I could talk about design all day, and our followers regularly tell us they want more. So, it felt like a perfect next step to turn those conversations into a podcast and invite all these inspiring people to join me.”
The first three episodes of The Chromologist will be available on March 11th from Spotify and the Farrow & Ball website. The remaining five episodes in the series will be released weekly.
